Over the past couple years there has been an influx of mens’ bags. My style has matured from common backpacks to custom bags. While menswear has continued to progress it is still pretty easy to get lost in the herd.
One of the best sartorialist advice I was ever told was to own a statement piece. That is probably why I was drawn to N4E1 (Not For Everyone) when I heard about their Mulliner bag. It wasn’t just a classically sewed bag that drew me to the brand but their philosophy.
N4E1 company byline states “Not For Everyone follows its own path breaking the norm for conventional forms of smart clothing, bringing an identity and flavour unrivaled in both design and execution.” Continue reading

Steed Lord rocks! We had the pleasure of seeing them perform in a very intimate setting in Kansas City several months ago. Very intimate.
Not too many Kansas Citians were familiar with the Icelandic trio that gave the world “Dirty Mutha” <– (Go to this hyperlink now if you have not heard this infectious jam.)
Steed Lord delivers a hilarious video for their new single, One Good Reason.
Guy Ritchie has created a racy viral campaign for Dior Homme. The short film, Un Rendez-Vous, was filmed in Paris and stars Jude Law. The dramatic background music is “Exogenesis Symphony, Part 1″by Muse.

What does one do with a once trusty piece of technology when a sleeker, faster, fancier newcomer invention replaces it? For financial and environmental reasons, you should never put your old electronics in the garbage. Environmental advocates pinpoint electronic devices as some of the worst items you can toss into a landfill.
A couple a weeks of ago I discovered Gazelle , a site that will pay you to recycle your old products. Gazelle buys a large assortment of products everything from cell phones, MP3 players to laptops, digital cameras, gaming systems, and more.
The process works very simply. Go to the site and type the name of your product in the search bar. The site will ask a few questions about the condition of the item and whether you have the original accessories. Then the company will calculate a price of your gadget based on the current market value of the item. If you decide to sell the gadget, click the ‘Add to’ box button. To make the process even simpler, the company sends the consumer a paid postage shipping box and label in order to send the electronic device.
Gazelle sends payment via a check, credit to your PayPal account, an Amazon gift card or a donation to a charity (you choose from a list of organizations). The company also has a program with Costco where you can receive a Costco cash card in exchange for old devices.
Gazelle claims it removes all personal data from every item it receives. However for peace of mind it might be best erase all data before you drop the item(s) in the mail.
Most of my old electronic devices no longer had a market value, but Gazelle will still recycle it. Selling to Gazelle is a lot easier than waiting for a buyer to haggle over prices. Gazelle keep electronic devices out of landfills and out of cluttered basements.
